Our approach · promotion and option agreements

Three commitments, written down before anything is signed.

How we behave towards owners and villages, and the two forms of agreement we offer, side by side.

01
Three commitments

What you can hold us to.

You see everything.

Every report, every offer, every cost we incur in your name. A quarterly letter, whether or not there is news.

We speak to the village first.

The parish council hears our proposal from us, on the land, before an application is submitted.

We stop when it is right to stop.

If the assessment says the site will not succeed, we say so and end it. We do not tie up land we cannot promote.

Two agreements

Promotion or option. Both cost you nothing. They differ in who buys.

We recommend a promotion agreement for most sites. It keeps our interest and yours the same: the highest price a housebuilder will pay for a well consented site.

03
How the land is sold

Several bidders, one decision, yours.

Consented land is marketed to housebuilders who have already told us what they are looking for in the district.

Bids are opened together, compared on price and on conditions, and shown to you in full. You choose the buyer. Completion follows the agreement you signed at step three, with the larger share of the net proceeds to you.

The five steps, from first call to sale.
